Swanley Community Update: Operation Sceptre

Dear Resident,

This week, Kent Police are taking part in Operation Sceptre, a national initiative focused on tackling knife crime and raising awareness about its dangers.

👮 What’s happening locally:

Officers will be carrying out sweeps of local parks to ensure our public spaces remain safe.

Police teams will be engaging with local businesses, providing posters and information to help spread awareness.

Community officers will be available to speak with residents, answer questions, and offer advice on how we can all play a part in reducing knife crime.

🔑 The aim: Operation Sceptre is about education, prevention, and safety. By working together, we can reduce knife crime and protect our community.

💬 How you can help:

Speak to officers if you see them out and about.

Share the message with friends and family.

Report any concerns anonymously via Crimestoppers or directly to Kent Police.

Together, we can continue to keep Swanley a safe place for everyone. Thank you for your continued support.
